I've been in love with wild violets forever - so I'm going with that one. beautiful shots.
Never saw a yellow violent! That's so beautiful. And I think my favorite is the Wake Robin, another flower I've never seen.
We have a falls with trails near our home (15 miles) and this makes me want to go in search of the flowers there. All I've ever noticed was Trillium but maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention :)
Did I actually write "yellow violent"? Gads.....violet, violet, violet!
Love the wild violets, I didn't know they are yellow (since violet means... purplish). I think if I am a wild flower, I'll choose bluebells :-)
Without a doubt I would be a Disa, a wild orchid that grows on the scraggiest and highest of cliffs.

I would be a white Trillium.... (you called the purple one Wake Robin) Because they are one of the first flowers of the season,... with so much promise of good things to come. Your shot of the yellow violets is so artistic,... Excellent catch!

Oh, and I'd probably be lichen. :D Ok, it's not a flower. It's an organism, really. It's a symbiotic relationship between a moss and a bacteria. A misfit. :D

I tried to identify a leaf in a photo yesterday. When I'd get to the end of the "identify questionnaire", the leaf never looked like the leaf that they told me it was. and every time it was a different answer. Clearly I am not good at this, LOL.

I think I would be a violet too - love the yellow ones. Very nice selection of flowers. We are stil waiting forours to bloom!
These are such lovely flowers. We are just starting now to see wildflowers on our weekly hikes. Today I identified Trailing arbutus, also known as mayflower. I was hoping it could be used as a topical skin herb, like to treat bug bites and such... according to my research it's good diuretic. Doesn't do me much good in relieving itchy bug bites though!
