~Noelani Day~
Etc.
- The prompt for this weeks haiku: Never-ending.
- My intent was to go to Bass Lake to get some fall color shots last week.
- We didn't make it before the sun started going down.
- We stayed to shoot the moon because of a suggestion from another photographer.
- I was glad that I took the strangers advice - even if it was cold & I was hungry.
- I need to practice night shots more, I don't do them enough.
- The days are getting shorter. I barely make it home in time for good light.
- Maybe I need to make a lightbox so that I can take photos inside!
- Speaking of inside, we have gutted our laundry room, it looks so much better.
- I forgot how big that room was......it was so cluttered. Now, it's a brand new space!
- I will work on more excursions this weekend, so look forward to some fresh outings!!

Pretty haiku. Although your title reminded me playing the card game hearts. I think I've got cards on the brain. Lovely images though, capturing the moon can be tricky and you did a wonderful job. :)
Beautiful shots! You used a camera stand? I have never got such good moon shots.
That's really an interesting set... Nicely done...
Wonderful haiku to go with the shots you took. Beautiful work.

Yey! Moon pics are the best. Very pretty. :)
If I have something to prop myself onto, I like to expose mine like it's daylight (which can take 2-5 minutes of exposure sometimes).
Happy weekend! :)
You are ILLUMINATING! I made it on to your site! YEA! I will remember that trick! GREAT ohotos as usual! Time to catch up!
Very, very beautiful. I almost like the first one best, that sense of anticipation is so strong. Thanks for a lovely trio, and I'm definitely looking forward to more night shots.
I need to get some experience of night shots. Yours are absolutely great! Bet it took a great deal of practice to get them like that!

Wow! Night reflections! This is too cool. Your name is Noelani? I student taught at Noelani School in Manoa too many years ago. I happen to love the name so it drew me to your blog and I'm glad it did. You have so many wonderful photos. I'm going to stay a bit to have a stroll through your pictures.

Oh wow - those are gorgeous!
I need to practice night shots as well, though I think you are light-years ahead of me. :) I think this same thought every year, just before the holiday season - which is full of night-time shot potentials. Why I don't think of it in January is beyond me. :)
Those are beautiful. I could stare at those shots all day.
Well done!
ur Labels: the 'Light', was a prisoner to the 'Moon', the 'Night Shot' at me, a whispered tremor of 'reflection', so the 'silhouette' of sensuality
danced..
..many thanks..
Such beautiful magical photos, they are real treat!

Those are fantastic shots of the moon. I also love your shot of the queen anne's lace in the next post. I'm assuming that's what it is as mine looks like that now as it spreads out its seeds.
