Window to the World

~V E N T A N A~

May your walls know joy; May every room hold laughter and every window open to great possibility.
~Maryanne Radmacher-Hershey~

The prospect of possibility can sometimes be a scary concept.
Unable to fully grasp the idea of what you want, and how to obtain it.
But that spark turns into a step before you even realize that you're climbing.

I love your photo along with your words... walls and windows, confinement and freedom, shelter vs the unknown, - also brings to mind a Dan Fogelberg song
"most days she sits and just stares at the windows and walls, windows and walls"

The window I'm looking out of right now is open to blue skies ... which is a very good thing.

That reminds me of medieval times, for some reason... small windows to keep the precious heat in, back in those days. Very pretty!

I love the fact that one of the window panes is missing. It is the connection between the outside and the inside worlds. Along with your words it is the focal point to me that a success is achievable.

jen: I just love your connection feedback! thanks.

POD: :o)

lydia: Thank you!

meridith: Why yes it is!!

1218: I'm counting on that :)

a little bird: I hope the days have gotten better since your last comment!

RR & Greg: Thank you!

TD: That probably what they were thinking when the buildings first went up.....not sure if that building was the early 1900's or not, probably so.

liss: I thought the missing pane gave it more character, which made it a bit more interesting - at least to me. Glad you think so too :o)
